5. Dav Whatmore

Best Coaches in Cricket: Retired Australian cricketer and professional cricket Coach Dav Whatmore had a very short international career of seven Test matches and a single ODI as an Australian player. He started his international coaching career with the Sri Lanka national cricket team. Whatmore coached them in two spells during which Sri Lanka won the 1996 ICC Cricket World Cup. He served as the head coach of Bangladesh national cricket team from 2003 to 2007. He guided them to their first-ever Test match victory in 2005.
